Description

Rock Cottage and Hill Cottage are two attached cottages dating from the 18th century. They feature rubble-stone walls and thatch roofs, which are half-hipped at the left end, with stone gable copings on Hill Cottage. There are three brick stacks located at the left-hand eaves and at each gable apex. The cottages are two storeys tall and have a total of five windows. Rock Cottage has 2-light metal casements with wooden lintels and concrete sills, while Hill Cottage has renewed 3-light casements with glazing bars, wooden lintels, and sills. The front doors are centrally located; Rock Cottage has a door with four recessed panels in a wood frame, and Hill Cottage features a wood door with glass panels throughout, dating from the 20th century.
