Description
The Baker's Arms is a former inn that has been converted into a private house. It dates from the 17th century and 18th century on the right side. The building features ashlar stone and rubble walls, topped with a thatched roof that has a stone gable facing the road, which is coped. There are brick stacks on both the left-hand west gable and the right-hand gable. The structure is two storeys high and has three windows, which include two and three-light stone mullions with wooden casements. The right-hand side has sashes with glazing bars, and dressed stone voussoirs are present above the windows. The original front door facing the road has been blocked and is now a window. The current front door is located on the west gable wall; it is designed in a 16th-century style but was made in the 20th century.
