Description
Church House is a detached cottage dating from 1752, as indicated by an inscribed stone tablet. The cottage features shallow rubble-stone walls, with some brick quoins and brick dressings. It has a slate roof that is hipped on the left side and gabled on the right side, topped with a stone coping. There is a brick stack located at the right gable. The building is two storeys high and has six windows, which are sashes with thin glazing bars, flat brick arches with keystones, and stone cills. The front door is positioned to the left of centre and is a flush-panelled door from the 19th century, featuring a stone lintel with a key. Additionally, there is a rubble-stone outhouse at the south end that is also of special interest.
