Description

The Cottages are two semi-detached cottages built in the early 18th century. They feature rubble-stone walls and a thatched roof, which has a gable end on the left side and is hipped on the right side. There is a 20th-century brick chimney stack at the left gable and an 18th-century brick stack on the ridge, located to the right of the center. The cottages are two storeys high and have a total of six windows, which are three-light wooden and iron casements, some of which include lead lights and wooden cills. The front doors are as follows: No. 1 has a plank door with one glass light, located left of center and dating from the 19th century, while No. 2 has a plank door with a glazed top half, situated at the right end, also from the 19th century.
