Description

Nos 9 and 11 on Shadrack Street are two attached cottages dating from the 18th century. They feature lias rubble walls and asbestos slate roofs, with three brick chimneys located at the left-hand gable, right-hand centre, and far right gable. The cottages are two storeys high and have a total of four windows. No 9 has three-light wooden casements with segmental brick arches on the ground floor, while No 11 has renewed two-light wooden casements with wooden lintels above. There is also a 20th-century roundel on the right side of No 11. Each cottage has a wooden front door located at the centre, both of which are from the 20th century.
