Description

Three attached cottages, dating from the early 19th century. They have lias stone walls, with slate roofing to number 28 and Roman tile roofing elsewhere. Brick stacks are located at the right-hand gable and at the party wall between numbers 30 and 32. The cottages are two storeys high, with a symmetrical arrangement of windows. The windows are 2-light and 3-light casements with wooden frames and an iron central light, and have reeded wooden sills. The front doors are varied: number 28 has a 20th-century wooden door with a pitched canopy; number 30 has a wooden door with two glazed panels, under a shallow, pedimented canopy with iron foliage scroll brackets; and number 32 has a wooden door with muntins, also with a 20th-century concrete lintel above it.
