Description
This is a row of cottages located on Fleet Street, dating from the early 19th century. Originally four cottages, there are currently three. The cottages are built from lias rubble stone and feature a continuous slate roof with a tiled ridge. There are brick stacks at the left gable, the two party walls, and the right gable. The buildings are two storeys high and have a total of six windows, which are three-light casements with wooden frames and iron centre-lights. The ground floor windows have gauged stone voussoirs and two wooden lintels. There is a blocked window above the door of number 53. The doors are as follows: number 47 has a plank door from the 20th century, number 51 has a panelled door from the 20th century, and number 53 also has a panelled door from the 20th century.
