Description
No. 45 Fleet Street is a detached house that was formerly known as the Star Inn. It dates from the 18th century and features stone walls that are rendered. The building has a slate roof with stone gable copings and two brick stacks located at the left and right gables. It stands two storeys high with attics and has three windows. The ground floor includes two bow windows with canted bays, each topped with slate roofs. The front door, located at the left center, is wooden and panelled with two top lights. There is also a flush-panelled door from the 20th century situated between the bow windows. An iron bracket for a former signboard is still present.
