Description
No 4 Shadrack Street is an attached house dating from the mid-18th century. It features brick walls set on a stone base and has a slate roof with stone gable copings. There are rendered stacks at both the left and right gables, and the house has a gable end facing the street. The building is two storeys high with attics and includes five windows, which are sashes without glazing bars, featuring projecting keys above and flared voussoirs at the centre of the upper windows. The ground floor has twin 19th-century sash windows. The front door, located at the centre, is an 18th-century wooden six-panelled door topped with a semi-circular fanlight that has curved intersecting glazing bars.
