Description
No 50 is a house dating from the early 18th century. It is constructed of local red brick, with foundation courses made of early buff brick. The building features a slate roof and end stacks. It has two storeys and a symmetrical facade, with a 19th-century rear wing that has a slate roof and a weatherboarded extension with pantiles.
On the first floor, there are three original wooden framed casement windows with lattice lights set in segmental arches. The ground floor has two similar three-light windows in flat arches, complete with shutters. The entrance features a 19th-century six-panelled door framed by wooden architrave. Additionally, there are garden walls on both the left and right sides that curve from the house to the street boundary.
