Description
No. 17 High Street is a house dating from the mid to late 18th century. It is constructed of painted local brick and has modern interlocking tiles on the roof. The building features parapet gables and an end stack, presenting a symmetrical facade over two storeys. A dentil brick cornice runs along the top. The front has three casement windows with glazing bars on the first floor and two on the ground floor, all set in flat arches. The entrance is marked by a six-panelled door within a segmental arch.
