Description

No 118 is a house dating from the mid-18th century, constructed of rendered brick on a plinth. It features a stone slate roof with a concrete pitch at the rear. The building has had its roof dormers removed and consists of two storeys and an attic, with three bays. The entrance door is located in the first bay, set behind an axial stack, with a right gable stack and a rear wing that has a lateral stack. The front elevation includes a six-panelled door, with the upper panels being glazed, set within a timber moulded doorcase that has a bracketed canopy. The first and third bays have canted bays with eight and twelve-pane sash windows. The eaves are adorned with brick dentils. The interior is noted as not being of special interest.
