Description
This is a house and shop, likely dating from the 19th century or earlier. The exterior is rendered with quoins, and it has a slate, single-hipped roof. The building is two storeys high, with a cellar. It has two bays. The left bay contains a shop front with grotesque fascia brackets. The right bay features a canted bay window and a panelled sill wall, incorporating a cellar hatch. First-floor windows are margin-glazed sashes, set within moulded architraves and resting on brackets. A two-bay rear wing extends from the left side, featuring an asbestos roof and a brick end gable, also with margin-glazed sashes. The interior was not inspected, but it is believed that the building originally had wattle and daub internal partitions.
