Description
The Cottage and Trimm Cottage are two attached cottages dating to the later 18th century. They are constructed of lias rubble walls, which have been rendered and washed. The Cottage has a thatched roof, while Trimm Cottage has a corrugated asbestos roof. The cottages feature four brick stacks at the ridge, left gable, along the party wall, right centre, and right gable. There are six windows in total, each with 2-light wooden casements featuring glazing bars and wooden sills. The Cottage has a 6-panelled wooden front door in the centre, dating to the 18th century. Trimm Cottage has a wooden plank front door with a simple flat canopy supported by brackets on the left, and another plank door with a modern pentice porch on the right centre.
