Description
Rossiters and the Cottage are a pair of cottages dating from the late 18th century, located on the east side of High Street in Child Okeford. The left cottage features rendered, colourwashed walls, while the right cottage has whitewashed, coursed, squared rubble walls. Both cottages have thatched roofs with brick stacks at the gable ends and along the ridge. They are two storeys high and have a total of four windows. The right cottage has segmental stone heads above its windows. The windows are three-light casements, with the left cottage's windows having horizontal glazing bars and the right cottage's windows featuring leaded-lights. Both cottages have 20th-century porches, with Rossiters having a panelled door and the Cottage having a part-glazed door.
