Description
Child Okeford House is a house with a service range that likely dates from the 17th century, while the main range is from the 18th century, with additions and alterations made in the mid-19th century. The walls are constructed from a combination of flint, brick, and rendered materials. The building has a tiled roof and stands two storeys high, featuring five bays and an additional canted bay on the left side. The 19th-century sash windows are set within eared architraves. There is a doorway located in the south end wall, topped with a round, moulded hood supported by scrolled brackets, leading to a panelled door.
Inside, notable features include moulded beams, reset 17th-century panelling, an 18th-century dado, and a drawing room fireplace with an 18th-century surround.
