Description

Saddlers Cottage is a pair of cottages, likely built in the late 18th century, although they may have an earlier core. The cottages feature coursed rubble walls and thatched roofs with gable ends. Each cottage has a brick stack at the left end, with the stack for Saddlers Cottage being a 20th-century replacement. The buildings are two storeys high and have a total of six windows. The upper floor has two and three-light casement windows, with leaded lights, while the ground floor windows have either full or horizontal glazing bars. Saddlers Cottage has a plain wooden door, while No 542 features a six flush panel, part-glazed door with a segmental iron hood.
