Description

Byways is a late 18th-century farmhouse. It has rendered walls and a tiled roof with gable ends and end stacks. The building is symmetrical, with two storeys and an attic. The front has a three-window range, featuring two-light wooden mullioned and transomed windows with glazing bars. A central porch provides access. The building is described in the Royal Commission on Historical Monuments, Dorset, volume III, page 6, number 10.
