Description

East Cottage and West Cottage are two attached cottages dating from the early 19th century. They feature dressed stone walls and a slate roof with stone gable copings. There are 20th-century brick stacks located at the left-hand gable, the centre ridge, and the right-hand gable. The cottages are two storeys tall and have six windows in total, consisting of three-light wooden casements with glazing bars on the ground floor and two-light casements above. The windows have wooden cills and lintels. The cottages also have 19th-century plank doors, which are topped with wooden lintels and canopies.
