Description

Wallhayes is a detached house dating from around 1700, with a 19th-century refacing. It features dressed stone walls and a thatch roof with stone gable copings. There are brick stacks at both the left and right gables. The house has two storeys and four sash windows with marginal glazing bars, along with wooden cills from the 19th century. Additionally, there is one two-light swing-casement window. The front door, located at the center, is made of planks and muntins and dates from the 20th century. Above the door is an elliptical fanlight without glazing bars, and there is a thatch porch canopy. To the left, there is an attached extension from the 19th century, which has rubble stone walls and a slate roof, with a brick stack at the left ridge.
