Description

The Marquis of Lorne Cottages are two attached cottages built in the early 19th century. They feature rubble stone walls and a slate roof with gable ends, along with a brick stack at the center ridge. The cottages are two stories high and have four windows, which are three-light wooden casements, although some have been renewed. The wooden cills are present beneath the windows. The front doors are located at the left and right ends; the left door is a plank with one glass light from the 19th century, while the right door is a plank from the 20th century.
