Description

Rose Cottage is a detached cottage dating from the mid-18th century. It features rubble stone walls and a thatched roof that is half-hipped at both the left and right gables. There is a brick stack located at the right-hand gable. The cottage has two storeys and two windows, which are wooden casements with glazing bars, including one 2-light and one 3-light window. The upper casements are small and date from around the 18th century, showcasing early hinges. The wooden cills have been renewed. To the left of the centre, there is a plank door with one glass light, which is from the 19th century. Additionally, there is a 20th-century wooden porch with a gable.
