Description

Old Staddles is a detached house that was formerly a police house, dating from the early 19th century, with the possibility of an earlier core. The building features rubble-stone walls and a plain tile roof adorned with cresting. There are brick stacks at the end gables, which are from the 19th century. The house is two storeys high and has three windows, which are three-light wooden casements with glazing bars and wooden cills. The ground floor has stone lintels, also from the 19th century. The front door is centrally located and consists of flush panels with glass lights above that have pointed heads. Above the door, there is a stone canopy supported by carved stone brackets, dating to the 19th century.
