Description

Barton Cottages are two attached cottages dating from the late 18th century. They feature coursed rubblestone walls and a thatched roof with gable ends and stone copings. Brick stacks are located at the gable ends. The cottages are two storeys high and have two windows on the ground floor, which are 2 light wood casements with glazing bars. Above, there are 3 light casements that were added in the 20th century. The front doors are different for each cottage: No. 1 has a panelled and glazed door from the 19th century, while No. 2 has a fully glazed door from the 20th century.
