Description

Schoolhouse Farmhouse is a detached farmhouse built in the mid-18th century or later. It features stone rubble walls and a thatched roof with stone gable-coping on the left side. There are brick stacks at both the left and right gables. The building has two storeys and three windows, which are three-light wooden casements with wooden cills and dressed stone voussoirs. The front door, located at the center, is made of wood with glass panels and dates from the 20th century. A porch with four stone columns on stone bases supports a Roman-tiled pitched roof. The farmhouse has wooden barge boards and a slate-roofed extension at the left-hand end. A rear wing constructed with the same materials includes a brick stack at the rear gable.
