Description

Hillside Cottage is a detached farmhouse dating from the mid-18th century. It features rubble-stone walls and a thatched roof with gable ends, along with two air-holes. The stone stacks have been rebuilt in the 20th century. The building stands two storeys high and has three windows, which are three-light wooden casements with wooden cills and lintels above, and horizontal glazing bars. To the left of the centre, there is a plank door set within a wooden frame. The porch is supported by two wooden posts and has a pentice tile roof.
