Description
Knapp Farmhouse is a detached farmhouse dating from the mid-17th century. It features dressed stone walls and a thatched roof, which has stone gable copings and moulded kneelers. There are brick stacks located at the left-hand gable, left of center, and at the right-hand gable. The building has one and a half storeys and includes three windows, which are two- and three-light wooden casements with glazing bars. There are three eyebrow dormers, with one on the right side being sashed. A canted bay window is situated on the right side at ground level, featuring a sash window with glazing bars and wooden cills. The front doorway, located left of center, leads into a cross-passage and has straight-chamfered jambs with pyramid stops and a depressed-arch head. The door includes two glass lights. Inside, the farmhouse has deep-chamfered ceiling beams and a plank-and-muntin screen.
