Description

Home Farmhouse is a detached farmhouse dating from the early 18th century. It features dressed stone walls and a thatched roof with gable ends, stone gable-copings, and moulded kneelers. The gable ends have 20th-century rebuilt brick stacks. The building is two storeys high and has three windows, which are three-light wood casements with wood cills and lintels. The doorway is located left of centre and consists of a plank door with one glass light and strap-hinges. There is a 20th-century porch that is rendered and glazed to half, with a pitched tile roof. The interior includes a staircase with shaped wavy balusters and a dog-gate, although access to the interior was not obtained.
