Description

Potwell Farmhouse is a detached farmhouse dating to the 17th century with a later 18th-century extension. It is built of dressed stone with walls of thatch, hipped on the left side and gabled on the right. Brick stacks are present, one rising from the hip and the other from the right-hand gable. The farmhouse has approximately four windows, featuring 3- and 4-light wooden casements with glazing bars on the right side. A stone mullion window with a 4-light opening is centrally located, with a stone arch-voussoir above other windows. The front door, located to the left of centre, is planked and sheltered by a pentice-roofed porch with glass and brick walls. A circa 19th-century addition extends to the right, unified under the same roof.
