Description
Manor Farmhouse is a detached farmhouse dating from the early 19th century. It features coursed rubble-stone walls with dressed stone quoins and a slate roof with gable ends. There are 19th-century brick stacks at each gable. The building is two storeys high and includes cellars and attics.
The facade has three sash windows, each with four panes, dressed stone jambs, lintels, keys, and stone cills. The central front doorway has dressed stone jambs and head, with a door that has lower flush panels and two upper lights. Above the door is a fanlight with radiating glazing bars, also from the 19th century. A wooden porch with a gabled slate roof, dating to the 19th century, shelters the entrance.
On the east gable wall, there are upper floor blockings, along with a ground floor sash window and a door to the right. At the north-west corner, there is an attached rear wing made of the same materials, featuring a 20th-century brick stack at the rear gable. This wing has renewed two-light casements and a plank door in the re-entrant angle.
In front of the house, there is an early 19th-century attached garden wall, which is a low rubble-stone wall in a semi-circle, acting as a retaining wall.
