Description
Boohay Farmhouse is an early 19th-century farmhouse constructed of stone rubble with a slate-hung front. It features a slate roof with gabled ends and paired brackets supporting the oversailing eaves. The building is two storeys high and has three widely spaced bays, with the centre bay slightly advanced. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars. The central entrance consists of a panelled and glazed door topped by a slated hood on shaped brackets. There are brick chimney stacks at both gable ends, with one stack rendered. The farmhouse is positioned at right angles to the road, with a long wing extending at the rear along the roadside.
