Description
Kingston Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from around the 18th century. It is constructed of slate-hung stone rubble and cob, topped with a slate roof that has gable ends. The building is two storeys high and features a long five-window range. The first-floor windows are sashes with glazing bars. On the ground floor, there is a tripartite sash window on the right, a casement window with glazing bars on the left, and a late 19th-century splayed bay window in the centre. To the right of the centre, there is a 20th-century door and porch. At the rear, there is a slate-hung staircase turret, and an 18th-century plastered wing that forms an L-shape. The farmhouse has rendered end and ridge chimney stacks. Inside, there is an early 19th-century staircase.
