Description
Ashleigh Flat is a house with adjoining terraced houses, which was formerly used as shop premises. It dates from the late 18th century or early 19th century. The ground floor is finished in stucco, while the first and second floors are hung with slate. The roof is a slurried slate hipped design with a modillion eaves cornice. The building stands three storeys high and features three bays. On the second floor, there are three two-light casements with glazing bars. The first floor has two sash windows with glazing bars, along with one small narrow central sash. The ground floor includes two 20th-century shop windows and a 20th-century plank door at the center, which is topped with a hood. There is a brick chimney stack located at the side of the building.
