Description
Hayle Farmhouse is an early 19th-century farmhouse built from rubble stone and topped with a slate roof. It features coped gables and end stacks, and is two storeys high with an attic, presenting a four-window range. On the first floor, there are four pointed glazing-bar sash windows. The ground floor includes three 16-pane sash windows and a six-panel door located to the left of centre. This door is set within a pointed surround that has an overlight and is framed by a decorative Gothic porch made of ashlar and timber. The porch has stone below and narrow pierced Gothic stone lights on the sides, along with barge boards, a stone finial, and a slate roof. The attic has leaded lights on the end walls, and there are two wings at the rear of the building.
