Description

This is a row of three cottages, now used as two dwellings, dating to the 17th century. The construction is of rubble stone, with the stone of No. 26 being rendered. The roof is thatched, with a half-hip to the west and ridge stacks. The cottages are one and a half storeys in height.

No. 25, originally two cottages, features a door and a pair of casement windows to the right, and a door alongside a triple casement window to the left, with a pair of casement windows above under a raised eyebrow. The east end wall has a pair of casement windows on both floors. Both doors are set within rendered porches with flat stone slab roofs. No. 26, to the left, has a ground-floor triple casement window and a door, with a pair of casement windows above. A lean-to is situated on the west end wall. The centre cottage, now part of No. 25, contains a large timber-lintel fireplace and a spine beam with bar stops.
