Description

This is a detached former farmhouse, dating to the late 17th century, although it has undergone significant alterations in the 20th century. The farmhouse is constructed of rubble-stone walls with stone quoins, and has a thatched roof with stone gable-copings. It features a brick stack at the left-hand gable and a stone stack at the right-hand gable. The building has two storeys and originally had three windows on the front elevation, featuring 3-light stone mullions with fixed glass panes on the ground floor, each with a separate returned label above. Above these, three 20th-century mullions with concrete framing and 20th-century metal casements are present. A central front door has small recessed panels and wooden framing, and is sheltered by a 20th-century thatch porch canopy.
