5/50 Keeper's Cottage

Detached Cottage. C18, with possibly earlier core. Rubble-stone walls with stone quoins. Thatch roof with gable ends and rendered brick stacks. 2 storeys. 2 windows, 2- and 3-light wooden casements with glazing-bars, wooden cills and concrete lintels. Plank door, with one glass light at centre; porch: rendered and with a gabled slate roof. Outbuilding at north end, beyond a straight joint, rubble-stone walls, with a half-hipped thatch roof. 2-light cast-iron casement with glazing-bars on gable end. 3-light C20 casement on south wall. Outshut at rear of cottage, with original catslide thatch roof over. The C20 extension of the cottage at east end is not listed.
