Description
The Old Rectory is a former rectory located in a garden, dating from the early 19th century. It features rubble-stone walls that are stuccoed and has a pyramid slate roof with two rendered stacks positioned in the middle of the front pitch. The building is two storeys tall with attics and consists of three bays, plus one service bay on the left side. The windows are sashes with thin glazing bars made of crown glass, set on stone cills, and there are two blind windows on the right side.
At the center of the north wall, there is a square porch that is single storey, supported by Roman Doric pilasters, and has a plain entablature and cornice. A sash window with an architrave is located in the north wall of the porch. The front door, situated on the east face of the porch, is made of wood with six recessed panels and dates from the 19th century. The south front of the house features a round-headed doorway at the center, which includes a fanlight and cast-iron glazing bars, along with a ribbed six-panel door from the 19th century.
