Description

The Village Pound is an 18th-century structure located on Shop Lane in Langton Herring. It features stone walls measuring approximately 6 metres by 6 metres and standing about 2 metres high. The walls are made of shallow rubble stone and topped with vertical coping stones. There is an entrance on the left side, marked by two square wooden gate-posts, although there is no gate present. The pound is of historic interest.
