Description
The Village Pound is an 18th-century structure located on Sheep Dyke Lane in Hunmanby. It is built from coursed rubble sandstone, featuring a brick upper course and brick quoins. The pound is a circular enclosure situated to the north-east of the Village lock-up, surrounded by a wall approximately 1.5 metres high, which has chamfered stone coping. There is a blocked entrance at the rear of the lock-up.
