Description

House, dated 1829 as inscribed on a datestone. Built in the 1829, it is located on Bridlington Street in Hunmanby. The house is constructed of red brick in a Flemish bond pattern, with a stone plinth and a chalk left gable wall. The roof is covered with pantiles, and features rebuilt brick stacks. It follows a central stairhall plan, with a depth of one-and-a-half rooms. The front façade is symmetrical, with two windows on each floor. The central entrance features a six-panel door with an overlight, set within a pilastered doorcase and cornice. All windows are sixteen-pane sashes, with stone sills and painted wedge lintels. The gables are coped, and there are end stacks. The rear of the house is single-storey, with a catslide roof.
