Description
Osgodby House is a farmhouse that has been converted into two dwellings. It dates from the late 18th century and has undergone some later alterations. The front is made of whitewashed brick in English Garden Wall bond, while the left side features chalk with a red brick gable end. The building has brick quoins, a pantile roof, and brick stacks. It is two stories tall with a three-window front. To the left of the center, there is a four-panel door with a divided overlight. To the left of the door is a single 12-pane sash window, and there are two similar windows to the right. On the first floor, there are two similar windows on either side of a 20th-century square recessed panel that contains a raised relief of a buck's head. All openings are topped with keyed gauged brick arches. The house features a raised first-floor band, coped gables, shaped kneelers, and end stacks.
