Description

Prospect House is a house that has been converted into offices, dating from the early to mid-19th century. It is constructed of painted brick in Flemish bond and features a slate roof with brick and rendered stacks. The building has a central stairhall plan and is two stories high with a symmetrical three-window front. The central entrance is a recessed 20th-century door beneath a blank overlight, with panelled reveals and a porch supported by slender columns. The windows are 16-pane sashes with stone sills and wedge lintels throughout, and the eaves are adorned with modillion brackets. The hipped roof has end stacks, and at the rear, there is a central round-headed window with radial glazing for the staircase, along with additional 16-pane sashes.
