Description
Hartdale House is a house that has been converted into offices, built in the early 19th century. It features Flemish bond brickwork and a graduated slate roof. The building has a three-bay central-staircase layout with two storeys and includes a late 19th-century wing on the left side. A stone plinth and a modillion eaves cornice add to its architectural detail. The central entrance consists of a recessed six-panel door topped by a radial semi-elliptical fanlight, flanked by fluted Ionic three-quarter columns. On the ground floor, there are two sash windows with flat brick arches and stone sills. The roof is hipped with stacks on the side walls. To the right, there is a flat-roofed bay that is of a similar age, and to the left, a two-storey, two-bay wing.
