Description
Manor House is a house said to have been built in 1664 and restored in the 19th century. It features a box-framed structure on a brick plinth with a slate roof and a brick extension. The house has a two-unit baffle-entry plan, two storeys, and a single-storey rear extension. The brick plinth has coved eaves and a gable stack. Each bay includes a 20th-century three-light window on the ground floor and a five-light window on the first floor, with jettied gables above. The entrance door is located to the right. The current brick plinth replaces an earlier stone one, and all original timbers have been covered. Inside, the house retains framed partition walls, chamfered beams, and an inglenook fireplace with a bressumer beam.
