Description
Tritton House is a house that has been converted into offices, built around 1830-1840. It features Flemish brickwork with a stone sill and a slate roof that includes small lunette attic lights. The house has gable stacks and is two storeys high, with a cellar and an attic. It consists of three bays with a central stair hall and is two rooms deep. To the left, there is a two-storey rear extension. The central entrance has a six-panel door that is accessed by two steps, topped with an elaborate fanlight. A wrought iron porch and canopy were reconstructed in the mid-20th century. The house also has later 19th-century canted and hipped bay windows, which are supported by iron corner columns and feature sash windows. The first floor has 16-pane windows with rendered lintels. Tritton House is a detached building that is part of a group with Nos. 8-12 nearby.
