The Kings Arms is a hotel built around 1870-1880, located on Wood Street in Swindon. It is constructed of brick with stone dressings and features a slate roof. The building is three stories high and has five bays, with a central entrance and an internal light well, showcasing a Gothic revival style. The entrance is recessed and has a segmental arch decorated with fasces. The ground floor has square stone bays with hipped roofs and corner columns. The outer bays and upper floors have paired windows with moulded and shouldered segmental heads on Decorated style columns, all beneath brick relieving arches. The facade has quoined ends, and a central chimney stack is corbelled out over the entrance on clustered columns, with royal arms displayed at the second floor level. Each bay is topped with a gablet that features a carved roundel. Inside, the reception rooms have decorated plaster ceilings.
