Description

This is an 18th-19th century house located on Wood Street in Swindon. The building is constructed of brick with a rendered plinth and a plat band. It has a slate Mansard roof with three dormers and gable stacks. A parallel range of stone is visible at the rear. The house extends over two storeys, with an attic and a cellar.

The main elevation has three bays, with a central entrance framed by a fluted Tuscan portico raised over a single step. The windows are 2-pane sashes from the 19th century, with splayed rendered lintels. The upper windows have one glazing bar to the lower sashes. Moulded eaves are present. The dormers feature 16-pane sashes with segmental heads.
