Description

The Village Pound is a structure likely dating from the 18th century, with modifications made in the 20th century. It features squared coursed limestone walls topped with stone-on-edge coping. The pound has a rectangular shape and includes an opening in the north wall. It is believed that the wall was lowered in the 20th century. This pound is depicted on the Enclosure Map of 1778, held at the Northamptonshire Record Office.
