Description
This is a house, originally two dwellings, dating to the 17th century with 19th-century alterations. It is located on the south side of Main Street, Yarwell. The house was originally three-unit in plan, now forming a T-shape. It is built of regular coursed limestone and has a Collyweston slate roof. The building has a single storey with an attic. The front has a five-window range, with a gabled cross wing projecting forward to the right of centre. There are irregularly spaced 20th-century casement windows set under wooden lintels. Two blocked doors are visible, one in the centre and one to the left. Two gabled dormers on the left side have 19th-century style casement windows, and a hipped dormer is located to the right. A brick and ashlar stack rises from the ridge, and an end stack is on the left, featuring a moulded corbel. An entrance is located at the rear of the property.
